Rabbi Naftali Portnoy, Director Rabbi Naftali Portnoy received his ordainment from the Rabbinical Seminary of America. Since 1988 he has served as the Co-Director of the Jewish Heritage Center of Queens and Long Island, an internationally renowned and respected Outreach Center. Together with Co-Director Rabbi Moshe Turk he developed this network of Educational Programs, which since 1987 has reached more than 15,000 Jewish Adults throughout the Metropolitan New York area showing the depth and beauty of our heritage. The Jewish Heritage Center is a dynamic, yet comfortable place, where questioning Jews can find guided growth in Torah. 
Rabbi Moshe Turk, Director Rabbi Moshe Turk received his ordainment from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, the Rabbinical Seminary of America. He is the founding Co-Director of the Jewish Heritage Center of Queens and Long Island, an internationally renowned and respected Outreach Center.  Rabbi Dovid Schwartz, Associate Director Rabbi Dovid Schwartz studied at the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem and received his ordination from Mesivta Rabbi Chaim Berlin in Brooklyn. Rabbi Schwartz first taught at the Hebrew Theological College in Skokie, Illinois where his papers were published in the College's Rabbinic-academic journals. Rabbi Schwartz went on to teach at various yeshivas in the metropolitan New York area before joining the Jewish Heritage Center of Queens and Long Island in 1995 where he currently serves as Associate Director. He oversees the Center’s individualized Torah Tutorial program and teaches the popular Tuesday night beginners series. Absorbing approaches from the eclectic schools of Jewish thought elucidated by great twentieth century Torah personalities Rabbi Schwartz's presentations are known for their depth, wit, clarity and humor.
Rabbi Yoni Katz, College Campus Outreach Rabbi Yoni Katz has been involved in community outreach for the past seven years in Suffolk County. He learned for more than ten years in Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim and received a masters degree from Adelphi University. He specializes in teaching ethics, Hebrew Reading comprehension, and ice skating lessons to his kids. Rabbi Katz joined the staff of the Jewish Heritage Center to further strengthen college campus outreach programming. His main focus is the Hofstra University Campus where he has been very involved in programming and one-on-one learning. Rabbi Katz has also been successfully recruiting students for additional learning programs and involving them in various Jewish activities and trips. 
Rabbi Micah Segelman, Long Island
Rabbi Micah Segelman studied in The Talmudical Institute of Upstate NY in Rochester, NY and continued his studies in Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim of Queens, ultimately earning S'micha from Rabbi Moshe Heinemann of Baltimore, Md. He leads a traditional minyan on selected Saturday mornings in the Jewish Heritage Center's Long Island site and is also involved with adult education programming in the Hicksville location. Rabbi Segelman is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Rochester where he earned a BA in Theoretical Mathematics and is pursuing Graduate studies in math at Hunter College. Rabbi Segelman teaches in both the Judaic Studies and Mathematics departments of Shevach High School in Queens.
